Been forever! This year has been hard. Wife lost her job and I'm facing a layoff in November, but got tired of missing my locals crew so renewed with my school refund.
Applied for University of Alabama this week cause they have an archaeobotany lab. Fingers crossed I get in.
Really hope I get in. The anthropology prof I talked to was talking about dissertation options when for me by the end of our conversation. He's got like 100 plant macroremains from the local mound that have never been categorized that he wants my help with.
Fuck Flint Dibble. Don't know much about him and don't care. Don't know if he's a zooarchaeologist or an archaeobotanist but you've got one potential archaeobotanist that's open minded, loves you (homo intended maybe) and what you do.
